The Zamfara state government in her 2021 budget has approved the sum of N500 million to be spent on a printing press, an action she says will help in addressing insecurity and curbing banditry.
Justifying the sum, the state government that has since inserted the sum under the ministry for security and home affairs, says the money will be used for the construction and equipping of a state printing press.
The state government while responding to Zam Tracka and her followers’ debate on spending the sum of N500 million on the printing press as a way of addressing insecurity, said the justification for spending the sum is based on the issue on the ground.
“There is no debate here. It is in tandem with what is on the ground” the state government said in her justification tweet.
