COVID-19: Ministry awards N53.910 million health training to engineering company

The Federal Ministry of Environment in what appears a clear breach of procurement laws has awarded N53.910 million health capacity training to an engineering company.

The ministry of environment in its COVID-19 procurement awarded a health training job to Messrs Joki Engineering and Consultants Ltd at the sum of N53, 910,000.00, a project the ministry said was completed in seven days.

It is not however clear, the kind of procurement process that was followed by the Ministry of Environment that led to the selection of an Engineering company to conduct health training.

MAWA Foundation could not immediately reach out to the Federal Ministry of Environment for an official response.
