A N70 million million Taraba State National Teachers Institute office construction has been abandoned, MAWA Foundation has learned.
This is even as the sum of N70,215,400 was allocated to the project in this year’s budget.
Worse still Tracka, a public accountability organisation that visited the project site for on spot monitoring and evaluation confirmed it has since been abandoned.
Dan Jodan Nigeria Limited is the contractor handling the project, while the National Teachers Institute supervises it.
MAWA Foundation could not immediately reach out to the National Teachers Institute for a response.
