Two boreholes seen in Smart Adeyemi N50 million constituency project

Only two boreholes were traceable after Mr. Smart Adeyemi, the Kogi Lawmaker got N50 million allocation to construct boreholes  for the communities he represents.

The Kogi lawmaker in the Senate, had in the  year 2020 using the ministry of agriculture, nominated the construction of boreholes in Kabba, Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State.

A Project that has since gotten allocation and  funds release by the federal government.

A senior Tracka official while speaking to MAWA FOUNDATION via a telephone conversation said their team who visited the communities to evaluate the projects could only find two boreholes out of many that supposed to be constructed.

This is even as the lawmaker had proposed to build many boreholes in different communities in the local government.

MAWA FOUNDATION could not immediately reach out to Adeyemi for a response as calls made to his telephone number could not go through.
