Jos Bukuru residents continue to suffer in search of healthcare as the Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC) in their area has since collapsed.
The Primary Healthcare Centre located at the Bukuru community in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State has become so deplorable and needs government urgent intervention.
This is even as over 15,000 persons depend on the hospital for Healthcare considering the huge population of residents in Bukuru.
Tracka, a public accountability organization that exposed the terrible nature of the hospital, has since appealed to Mr. Simon Lalong, the Plateau State Governor to help rehabilitate it and provide Healthcare to residents.
Despite the deplorable state of the hospital building, it lacks medical equipment and manpower which Tracka has since called on the state government to provide.
Plateau state government is not the only offender, across the Nigerian state, there are a huge number of communities that cut across urban and rural residents that lack Healthcare delivery as a result of the deplorable nature of hospitals in their areas.
In Nigeria, while the reach goes abroad to access medical care, the poor die of illness that can easily be cured as a result of poor medical care.
