The Nigerian Ministry of Transportation in what appears an act of corruption that has helped undermined development and growth in the country has abandoned N190 million freight project in Ogun State.
In the deal, the Nigerian government last year set aside the sum of N190 million for the construction of a national freight office in Idiroko, Ogun state.
Under the deal, the Federal Ministry of Transportation headed by Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, the former minister of transport, handles the project and serves as supervisor.
Tracka officials who were at the community say the project that was awarded to Prohtrip Resources Limited has since been abandoned.
