Katsina community where 50,000 residents depend on a single borehole

Bagaruwa community with over 50,000 residents in Mani Local Government Area of Katsina State are depending on a single borehole for their source of water and that leads to acute water scarcity.

Tracka, a public accountability organization that visited the community says residents suffer acute water scarcity as result of inadequate supply and has since appealed to the Katsina state government to help address the issue.

Residents while lamenting the predicament they go through trying to get water, appealed to the Katsina state government to help give them water.
