Travelers have continued to recount their terrible ordeal as the deplorable Ikuru road at the Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi state worsens.
Many travelers who use the road are either stranded or forced to cancel their journey and return because of the deplorable nature of the road.
Worse still, a huge number of persons use the road daily as it connects to different parts of the country.
And, this is even as the Nigerian state often budgets and release huge amounts of money annually for capital projects. Funds that are yet to reflect on the Ikuru road as travelers continue to recount their ordeal using the route.
Tracka, a public accountability organization that exposed the terrible nature of the road has since appealed to the Federal Government to help fix the road so that the predicaments experienced by travelers will be reduced.
