A multi-million Naira primary healthcare has been abandoned at Abbi community in Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State, MAWA Foundation has learned.
This is even as residents of the community say there is a high rate of maternal and infant mortality in the community as a result of lack of medical healthcare delivery.
The project awarded to Exulted Eagles Nigeria Limited has since been abandoned since 2016.
Checks by MAWA Foundation show that Exulted Eagles Nigeria Limited that was awarded the contract specializes in solar and inverter installation and has no history of building hospitals.
MAWA Foundation could not immediately reach out to Exulted Eagle Nigeria Limited and Delta state government for a response.
