School classrooms in Kano locked up, not in use five years after completion

Completed school classrooms in Kano have been put under lock and not put to use five years after they were constructed.

The three-block of classrooms that are three in number are situated at the Minjibir model school in the Mjb Local Government Area of Kano state and were facilitated by Mr. Bashir Baballe, a lawmaker while Tahlil Global Link Limited served as a contractor for the project.

The project that had its first phase completed in 2016 is yet to be put into use while they are still under lock and key.

Tracka, a public accountability organization that was in the community to inspect the project, said although the project has been completed, the classrooms are under lock and not put to use.

It is not, however, clear why the classrooms have been locked up and not put to use five years they were completed.
