One year after, ABU store yet to be fixed despite N19 million allocation

The Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria central store continues to remain in a sorry state despite the sum of N19 million allocated by the Federal Government for the store rehabilitation.

The federal government had last year allocated the sum of N19 million for the rehabilitation of the central store at ABU, Zaria main campus.

Although the project was captured as ongoing, Tracka, a public accountability organization that visited ABU, says no work has been carried out at the university central store, one year after allocation from the federal government for its rehabilitation.

MAWA FOUNDATION could not immediately reach out to ABU authority for a response as calls made to the university spokesperson did not go through.
